In truth I don't who they were, probably just a friends waiting on something, but to me they looked liked they had been through the hands of a stylist.

Aye just down the road from me, gave David Moire his inspiration for this painting "An incident in the rebellion of 1745" known commonly as "The Battle of Culloden".

Moire enjoyed the patronage of "Butcher" Cumberland, so he's nae pal of ours.

Looks like kids I would not like much. Not much individuality. Interchangeable, groupie and they take themselves too seriously.
Not a criticism of the photography just my honest reading of the content of the photo.

Yes, I like to think of the Scots as a wee bit burlier than the lads in the picture. Not, of course, that y'all have totally run out of martial prowess--I think it's a Glaswegian that currently owns the record for the longest sniper kill. (Of course, if he's from Glasgow, that means he's probably Irish, right?)



FWIW, I've got a professional interest in the Battle of Culloden--if there was a lens that you didn't have, I'd trade you one of mine for a battlefield tour the next time I'm across the Pond.
