Newport, RI

I went with some friends today to Newport. RI . I left my walk around lens (16-45mm) and took the Tamron 70-300mm DI for some candid shot. I didn't take many picture of the mansion (on Belluve Ave) but here are some -- just random pix. $150 for a new one I paid for last year -- this lens impress me with its sharpness and the color is not too bad .

Was there an old guy sitting on the side of the road painting those houses? When I was there last year, I stopped at that same spot in the road to take pictures.

Nice shots. I agree on the Tamron -- it's a great lens for $150.
