Went on a trip to the coast and back, and brought only the K10D and 21 & 70 ltd pancakes. Here are a few I managed to get during some of the rest breaks along the way, mostly in Jasper national park.







DA 70 didn't do bad as a wildlife lens, hey?

Nice series of images. Interesting that you could get that close to these animals with such short lenses. I made the trip from Glacier to Banff and the Jasper back around 1982 and it was truly one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been in. The scenery is wonderful and your third image bears that out.

Great series - shooting a bear at 70mm When I go I like the Bigma and the 1.7tc even then. Great scenic shots.
