Dragon flies
Posted By: jgredline, 06-14-2008, 08:54 PM

Hi Folks. Went on a Hike today with my Son Daniel. He was shooting the K1OD with Tamron 18-250mm with a B+W polarizer.... ''He took'' these the images of the Dragon flies and I took the images of him...I was shooting film most of the day... I helped him with the crops and some PP work, but these are his images, his composition...The kid is pretty good... Here is the photographer.

Tell Daniel "Good Work". I like the look of the second dragonfly shot, the one with the folded wings.
He must be strong too, hefting the K10d with that zoom attached.

I can certainly attest that things like dragonflies are a devil to capture will. These are some wonderful images.

Hi folks.
Daniel just finished reading the comments. Of all times not to have a camera on hand. The expression on his face was priceless.
Thanks folks.

By the way, I should mention, that I myself have yet to capture a good dragon fly. As much as I have tried and tried. Go figure.

Thanks folks, he is 8 years old soon to be nine and he has been shooting for about 2 -21/2 years. Normally he shoots a Fuji S9100 bridge camera, but we forgot it that day, so he he used mine.
