Swan Lake
Lens: Sigma 50-500 OS HSM Camera: K3 Photo Location: Battle Creek, Michigan ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/800s Aperture: F10

I recently took a trip to a local bird sanctuary with my K3 and my Bigma. I was shooting some ducks and noticed out the corner of my eye this guy swimming towards me. He had just drank some water so I was shooting in high burst mode hoping to catch a drop of water. Luckily I got this one with the water drop just hitting the surface of the water. I am still in the learning curve of my K3 and the Bigma. This was also my first time using a monopod. I have found I am getting a bit old to carry this much weight around all day.

200mm with OS -1 setting.

This is a head shot of another swan taken at 370mm 1/250s, ISO 1000, F9.0 using OS-1.

Thankyou, I really have been trying to get better with this lens. The monopod has helped. Twenty years I would not have needed it, times are different now.

Thankyou for the kind words it means a lot. I am still in the learning curve on this lens and have been struggling with ithe at times.
