I was back east at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut, a couple of weeks ago. Here are a few of the square rigged ships taken from across the river, in the late evening and early morning. The problem I had was the docks and buildings were always in perfect focus - however, with the tide and wind, there were around 20% of the shots that I was able to really nail in perfect focus of the actual ships. The 60-250 (other than its weight) is a real joy to use.
I really tried hard to get something different in terms of shots of the ships. Something other than just the traditional shots that one always sees.
