Thanks all, for the replies. They haven't really post-processed that much, cropping, borders, B&W conversion, and some shadows/midtones/highlights adjustments in PSP XI.
As to the eagles, they're off of Highway 71 between Llano and Burnet, Texas. Somewhere about
here. Nice little parking area on the river-side of the road, the nest is not more than 200 yards from the road. There are 3 adult eagles, with (I think) 1 immature eagle. They're there right now 'til sometime in April, and arrive in Oct. Note: these are the only nesting pair in CenTex, but many Bald Eagles winter at Lake Buchanan, just east.

And yes, it is worth it! Even if you don't like the eagles, there's the Highland Lakes, Longhorn Caverns, Enchanted Rock, and the charm of all the small towns in the area (Llano has the best-preserved, and largest downtown), and don't forget Storm's Hamburgers in Hamilton, Lampasas, Burnet, Marble Falls, and Kingsland!
Hope that helps you!
