A few more birds

Female Red-Winged Blackbird on a windy day


Calliope Hummingbird


Look Ma, no wings (Pine Siskin)


Eastern Kingbird


Mountain Bluebird (male)


White-crowned Sparrow


Red-winged Blackbird (male)


Took all of these the first two weeks of June in Waterton lakes National park

I was once attacked by a female blackbird. She swooped down at me several times, until I finally got it through my thick skull that I was too close to the nest.

Wow, what a treat. The eastern Kingbird one is fantastic. It shows to me that color is not everything. Lovely shot.
