A very nice shot Charlie. Reminds me when we stayed there a few years ago. It is true that great minds do think alike.--charliezap

Wow it appears like the boat was superimposed in the first one and with a rainbow. Cool shots.

Thanks Charlie. Add to that the fact that people with the same name think alike ... even when they are wrong. Hahaha!

Hi ManuP,

So far I have not seen one go under the falls and go under the water. It is quite an experience to ride one and hear the thunderous sound near the falls. The mist is incredible and cameras do get very wet.

Cheers!

Charlie

Thanks for being a keen observant. The juxtaposition of several factors, including the time of the day when the sun was low in the horizon, the Maid of the Mist in the right position (I took half a dozen pictures of the boat making its way towards the falls), and the rainbow being there ... made for this capture. I was there a few days later at around the same time but the rainbow was not in the same place .

Really majestic and beautiful. And yes it wouldn't be quite the same w/o the boat.

Great imagery, good grief it's been over thirty years since I was last there... bouncing around at the bottom of the falls on one of these wee boats, time to book a trip I think.

Better hurry and book that trip Kerrowdown. The Canadian loonie keeps losing its value. Your pounds will go a long way.

Always had fond memories of Canada, big country... took a couple of days to go from Chatham (near London) to Montreal by road, only a couple of inches on the map mind. It was all the interesting things you just had to keep stopping for to see.
