The Things Dreams are Made Of!
Lens: Tamron 28-200mm Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Oregon ISO: 800

On a recent trip to the Oregon Coast, we came across this used car lot with some amazing cars. The red '39 Chevy was my favorite, but the blue '40 was a close second. At $29,500, I thought the price was quite reasonable. The interior was superb, and it was powered by a 454 CID Chevy with 2-four barrel carbs. I would have loved to drive it home, but.... alas, LBA has sapped all my buying power!

The '59 Impala was stunning, as was the '54 Buick convertible.

Do you have any more pics you can post? I stink at this sort of thing, really enjoyed yours.

I like the close in shots. They capture the essence of the cars without the background distraction.

Yep, here's some more close-up shots of the better ones. Sadly, I failed to get interior shots. Some of them were absolutely TOP DRAWER!

great POV photos you have taken, I owned a couple of these and would love to take the '39 home, if it wasn't for that I travel fulltime.

Bob, did you notice the wheels on the '39? They're both right side and left side wheels, so that the "spokes" curve away from the direction of travel on each respective side. That's the first time I've ever seen this before. That's REALLY paying attention to detail! The photos don't come close to portraying it's overall beauty. One of the finest hot rods I've ever laid eyes on. The interior, a light tan leather, especially the dash, was as perfect as human hands could make it.
