Very nice images, like the Alpenglow in the first and third image.

Really beautiful tones and well balanced exposures! Last is my favourite for its extra depth, but they're all excellent.

Very nicely composed and shot. It is always interesting to see places I know little or nothing about. Please tell us a bit about your visit there.

Thanks. Malaiesti is probably the most famous chalet in the Bucegi Mountains from Romania. It's pretty easy to get there and not that high (1720m altitude). It's an access point for several tracks and also serves as a base for spring skiing. The view is very nice as you can see in the pictures.

More info here: Malaiesti Hut in Bucegi Mountains

I went there for a relaxing hike, nothing special, we spent the night at the chalet and did some look around. We had some first timers with us and in April there is still a lot of snow and danger of avalanche, so we were not thinking of going any further with unprepared people. But the track from Busteni to Malaiesti is not difficult even for first timers, and we spent a wonderful night there with boiled wine, guitars, lots of people and of course plenty folk music. The atmosphere is always great, and this time was no exception... fantastic mood all night long.

Here is how in looks live (this was recorded another time but it's from the same place):

And another song (the hymn of Bucegi mountains):

And finally some more pictures from my hike:

Thank you both. Charlie, I needed more than a sweater to get those shots
