That is a nice image Nelson, like the way you framed the house with the tree.

Is that stone built or some form of stone cladding added externally? it just has a strange "new build" look about it, perhaps just cleaned.

Great looking picture. I always like looking at Lighthouses. Love the vibrant colors.

You can thank my son for the way it is framed. I walked all around the house and did not see the shot.

I believe it is solid stone. It is old enough to be so.

Worked the .dng in Luminance HDR, then finished the image with CS2. Cloned out some broken limbs and telephone wires.

Intriguing: your positioning makes it look like the lighthouse tower is growing out of the pitched roof on the cottage, but of course the shadow tells the story. Nicely framed, and you're working that Zenitar 16 well.

The lighthouse is growing out of the roof of the building. The whole building is the lighthouse.

Well, that's a surprise. The sun position must be just right for the shadow of the tower to fall only on the roof. Thanks for clarifying.

PS - I looked again, and now I see a very thin shadow near the line of bushes, which must be from the tower.
