Very nice! I haven't seen any yet this year, and I've never seen any in my neck of the woods with the lighter brown fur.

I very much enjoyed viewing these.

Wow! You are the bear king or bear whisperer. This must be where they call "God's country".

Amazing photos! My favorite is the first of the close-ups! Glad you were using a Bigma, so you didn't have to get to close!

2, 5 & 7 for me, even though 6 is a perfect bear portrait. Would look great in the den Beautiful shots all of them. The bears coats look so healthy!

Wow! Beautiful images, The closest we have here is once in a while a coyote will come out of our riparian area. Never while I have a camera ready. I really like #8 (the last one).

Thank you, last June I saw more light colored ones than black ones.

I very much enjoyed viewing these.
Thank you and I am glad that you liked them.

Thank you for the kind words, Bigma does come in handy, at the shorter end as well.

Thank you kindly, the bears are healthy, gorging themselves on dandelions

A fine series to watch Heinrich. Overhere I can only watch bears in the zoo, so its a pleasure to see pictures of them in their natural habitat.
As far as i know from watching NG you should not get to close to a mama bear with cubs. Did you shot those from the safe environment of your car?

Thank you Andre, you NEVER get in-between mama bear and a cub and to answer your question: sometimes yes, sometimes no.
