.........I finally got some Badgers to pose for me.

wonderful shots Heinrich, these guys can really be nasty, don't get too close, I found out that they will chase you away with teeth bared

Heinrich, if they were posing they would have washed their faces first.
But great pics all the same!

Wow, great pictures Heinrich. I thought badgers normally would not come out during the day but only at night.
Anyway, luck was on your side this time and patience finally paid out.

Thank you Andre, I have ever only seen them very late or very early in the day. This was just a few minutes before sunset, I think this was mama with the two young ones and daddy was out already

Congrats Heinrich! I've never seen a badger except on the tele..

A great series, Heinrich. I love the sharpness. A couple of years ago, my nephew and I were out in the desert on BLM land south-east of Boise and we had a very LARGE badger attack the front tire of his jeep! True story. They can be some very edgy, mean critters at times.

Successful hunting! I love the second one, the face tells the story. What tele length were you if you don't mind saying?
