Perhaps she enjoys the pain of having them colour "topped up" once faded.

I figure that with with all the tatting everyone is getting these days that in about 20 years the nursing homes will be quite different from they are now. Lol, You won't really need reading material you can just look over at someone else's or your own arm.

On a completely different subject, I notice that her headband and vest colors seem to come from the same color pallet as her tats.

Did you not know ladies like to be colour coordinated? collars a cuffs should always match.
