Posted By: RollsUp, 06-15-2008, 11:34 PM

Red Phalarope

White Wagtail

Red-necked Phalarope

Long or Short Billed Dowitcher, I don't know which.

Found this guy sitting on the beach, a Tufted Puffin.

Thanks for looking.

All are very nice, but that last one of the puffin is amazing. Very well done. Alaska is on my very short list of places I really, really want to visit.

Some nice images of birds we don't see this far south. #4 and 6 are particularly well done.

Nice shots the last one in particular - I have this lens , love it , actually have my own bird post as well. There have been several complaints about this lens recently - seem you are ok with yours and I am with mine as well. Nice series.

There are a lot of great photo opportunities in AK and you won't be disappointed wherever you go. I only wish I could visit every corner of AK.

It's a nice lens for the money and I haven't found any faults with it.
I really like the way you composed your shots, something I need to work on. Did you crop your photos for a better composition or were they composed with the camera?
Thanks.
