Macro Hanging Out

These Hornets are bees of prey. This one only stopping for lunch while hanging inverted. You can barely see the small insect it was snacking on. Wish I had gotten closer but was chicken. No time for tripod.

nice! wish I have a dedicated macro lens (tamron 90/2.8) but really can't afford one and happy learning and like the results I get using close up filters

Hornets and Macro? You are brave. Nice shots, that first one actually gave me the heebie jeebies. lol, it looks like it either drop on you or will fly right at you any second.
