We were recently on a long West Coast vacation, and I was lucky enough to capture this pic while we were in Sequoia National Park. Keep in mind that I am a relative newbie that rarely takes the camera off auto at this point, so be gentle

. Also the pic has zero post-processing since I just started a trial of Lightroom and Photoshop tonight and have no idea what I am doing yet. Additionally, it has not been cropped and I just relied on the big ol' Sigma 150-500 for some reach.

Nice capture, yet a bit scary. Yeah some Lightroom might top things off just right.

I think it's a dandy shot. You may consider lifting the shadows a bit, so the viewer can see more facial detail.
