God's favorite bird.
Lens: 55-300 Pentax Camera: k5IIs Photo Location: Saugus ma. ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/1250s Aperture: F6.3

If God has a favorite bird the hummingbird must rank right up there.In my neck of the woods the Ruby throated is just about the only one that I see but I'm thankful for that.---charliezap

Of course you should take artistic license ---with your skills and the whimsical ruby throated bird---Why not? Lovely!

Thanks Jerry. The sunbeam effect is generated by one off the "effects" features in Paint Shop Pro.---charliezap.

Nice shot. But probably it would be more interesting without digital effects and yellow thing on the left side.

Otis...he liked that shot Charlie, and you know he is no bird fan! He says that if there is any room left in heaven after trillions and trillions of squirrels are admitted, then surely there will be room for a few little hummingbirdies?

They don't peck a hole in your head like Woodies, don't steal your peanuts like Jays, and don't poop all over your cedar fence like doves.
