Rising Tide.
Lens: A 120mm Camera: 645Z Photo Location: Bellingham, WA ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/10s Aperture: F13.5

I timed my visit to the Little Indian Slough for the high tide and at sunset. I had just a few minutes to capture these images. A good pair of rubber boots came very handy.

Alluring images. Light and shadow are nicely balanced with good detail.

Lovely shots and especially the second one, the lighting is beautiful. I can't help but feel that the shot would be sooooo much better take a bit further back though. It would lure you in a lot more and give a better sense of the atmosphere

Mattox: it was not possible to step back without sinking in knee deep mud. The tide was coming in quickly as the sun was setting. Next time, I'll try my 75mm lens.
