A Matchless, a Triumph and a third mate
Lens: A 50mm f1.4 Camera: Super A Photo Location: Gaydon ISO: 160 Shutter Speed: 1/1500s Aperture: F1.4
Posted By: Cuthbert, 08-11-2015, 05:35 AM

From the last test roll of my "new" Super A, I found these two Old Glories outside a pub in the Midlands, one is a postwar Speed twin, the other I think it's a Matchless 500.

Most of the shots are wide open while few at f8, I shot mainly aperture priority.

This one is underexposed because I was shooting the bike backlighted, but I like the muscular line of the Triumph:

This tiny red racebike was parked outside a museum during a Ford Transit rally (!!!).

Nice bikes. The Matchless is either a 500cc or 350cc single cylinder. The unnamed bike is a British made Cotton. I have a '67 Matchless 750cc Scrambler, so I'm partial to old Brit bikes. Thanks for posting these pix.
