We're Hungry! A Photo Story
Lens: Sigma 150-500 Camera: Pentax K50 Photo Location: Sauvie Island, Portland, Oregon

I've been watching this osprey nest over many weeks and have been waiting for the opportunity to catch them feeding. They're nesting on a piling in the channel. After hanging on my tripod for five hours over two days, it finally happened. These creatures are fiercely beautiful and the babies develop their predator look early on.

Mama wakes the babies:

Where is he?

Dinner is served!

Keep working. I'll feed the babies.

Gather around, children.

Me first!
