My 15 yr old using window light and a reflector. Any thoughts or comments?

Try to use a lighter background. her not look at the lens, try away form the camera.

The angle of the shot makes her look cross-eyed. Dead head-on does that, I think. It's not a driving license or passport photograph. Try having her tilt her head either slightly up or down, and to one side; then look back at the camera. She's a beautiful young lady. Enhance her glamor.

Thanks for the comments. when I took this photo I was using my daughter as a test subject just to test the light and the placement of the reflector. I guess you could say I was experimenting.

CagomoC, I know the background in this shot looks grey but it was actually white. It was located about 6 feet behind her and out of the window light. I guess that's why it looks darker than it really was. I was using a large sheet of white poster paper as the background (we have some pretty ugly wall paper in the room where this was taken......)
