Continuing my interest in barns and other farm buildings, I came across this farm while out and about today. I typically like the DA21 for this kind of subject as it adds real depth, but I couldn't get close enough to the buildings. The DA70 would have been ideal in terms of reach, but would have flattened out the subject too much for my liking, so I settled on the DA40 and some aggressive cropping!

My grandparents had a farm that was in the family for over one hundred years. Old wood barns are my favorite. Nice picture.

Thank you, Dave I love barns. The textures and colours from weathered timber and corrugated iron are just beautiful...
