I spotted these trucks along a small road in Massachusetts, in an area called Satans Kingdom. It seemed like a nice area but I guess whoever named it disagreed.

I was unfamiliar with the Autocar Company before seeing these trucks. They started in 1897, built the first delivery truck in the United States, became a division of Volvo during the 1980s, and are now owned by another company and manufacture heavy work trucks. The internet is wonderful, teaching us new things, though I wonder what useful facts got pushed out of my brain to make room for this trivia

Very nice capture, The glass is a nice contrast to the rust.

Autocar made a lot of heavy equipment until the 1970's, I remember seeing them when I was a kid.

Nice photo. I recall a heavy equipment moving company, using a very large Autocar back in the 1960's . The truck was huge, very powerful and was used to move large excavators and bulldozers, on a flatbed trailer, to and from worksites.
