Moon at 300mm

It was so clear out tonight I had to do a moon shot
taken w/ the 55-300mm at 300mm and cropped

Full moons are hard to capture. That is a keeper. Nice shot.

let's see it at 100%
moon shots are definitely a candidate for live view shooting

I'm still not sure what 100% crop means. What I did with this photo is opened it with photoshop went to the zoom tool and showed actual pixels. Then I just made a square marquee around it, copied, and pasted to a new canvas that was the size of the square marquee. Unless when you mean you want to see it at 100% you want to see the whole pic. That I can do, but its just gonna be a whole lotta black with the moon in the middle.

No no, what you did is pretty much a 100% crop.

100% crops usually mean magnifying to 100%; 1:1... what have you, and cut out the bit you want to show people.
