Just a snail
Lens: DA 18-135 WR Camera: K-30 Photo Location: Vancouver, BC ISO: 1000 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F11

Came across this fella on a walk the other day. Finally the rain has returned to Vancouver, and this guy appeared to enjoy the moisture.
Maybe not a true macro shot, but close enough...

And a fine specimen indeed! I almost never use my macro at the closest focusing distance either - some context and texture goes a long way to creating a good shot.

The DOF is just right and the warm colours permeating the picture is appealing.
