"Aye", an average of 150 rainy days in Seattle and 50 more cloudy ones. I think the Highlands west get 250 days. Amazing. The western Olympic mountains though in WA will get over 12 ft (3.65 m)of rain per year. That may top what Scotland gets.

Ah yes it is a challenge even in the forest because everything is mammoth sized. Even the ferns in my area are one meter tall on average.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have never tired of the diverse countryside WA state has from desert to temperate rain forest and some of the tallest mountains in the US. We get 60 ft of snow in the mountains on average per year.
