Another set of pictures from our days on Skye, with the exception of #2, these were all taken on the Trotternish Peninsula, in the northeastern part of the island.
A small pond on the trail up to the Old Man of Storr.
A view of the Cuillins looking south. More often you see these mountains looking in a northerly direction. Which is generally a better angle but we didn't have time to go there.
A small waterfall in the town of Uig, on the River Rha.
Kilt Rock, on the east side of the Trotternish Peninsula.
Sheep grazing near the Old Man of Storr.
In case you were wondering who this Old Man of Storr is, he's the tall spire at center in the distance. We were there at the wrong time of day so the picture isn't the greatest. There are probably 50 images posted per day of this rock on the popular photo sites, some of them really spectacular (mist, colorful sunrises, perched on a cliff, etc).
