I'm amazed by the level of sharp detail this “Gorgeous Lady” can render...

You can actually see on the original DNG the individual brush strokes in the paint near to where the paints missing on the top rail.

That's great. But sharp lenses are a dime-a-dozen today. The trend now is for lenses that render other properties nicely as well. And the bokeh looks nice on it too.

Perhaps what I should have said is that... I'm amazed because I seldom use this lens.

Note to self... use the “Gorgeous Lady” on a more regular basis.

Did you use a tripod? What distance? It looks very clean.

A great result for handheld even with the ratio of length to speed imho.

Thank you, I'm lucky enough to be blessed with fairly steady hands and with Pentax SR when required at slower speeds... job done.
