A quick shot for rod_grant, as ancestors of his (Clan Grant) had time there back in the late 1500s.

No it's actually very simple thing to do... a B&W conversion with split toning, saved as a preset, so it's just a one button click, it's become kind of a Kerrowdown B&W signature style look for me.
Thanks for your little "secret" I still have many things to learn from LR, this software can look easy to use at first glance but in fact you can go very far with it and it is very powerfull ! I'm not yet used to presets and grouped modifications but I'll have to learn that. I rarely use photoshop, I will do only for contests or fantastic shots I want to be perfect. Mainly using Fireworks because I'm very used to it, it is lighter and dedicated to web publishing so I prefer using it than PS when you only need your photos to be displayed on a screen.
