Testing my K-3 with 35mm macro lens · **1 Like**

Hello All,

Uploading 4 samples from my new K-3 + 35mm macro lens. This is my first macro lens. I want to make my macro photos as sharp as possible. Looking forward to your feedback.

Nice shots but I would try increasing the DOF to get more detail and sharpness.

Key to macro - get more light! Flash and/or tripod allow for more DOF and prevent subject movement of camera shake, respectively. I agree that the first two look darn good.

Use a tripod; trigger shutter with remote release or self-timer.
Use Live view to focus.
