Misc Pepperdine U Flags

I had to drive up the coast from LA to Ventura last Tuesday. Every September, Pepperdine University in Malibu places a flag for each 9/11 victim on its huge front lawn (note that there are many different nationalities honored). Luckily, I had my camera with me and tried out several shots.

Next, I tried out my ND filter.

On the way home that evening, I passed by again and the display was under lights, so I stopped and tried out a few more long exposures.

This last one is a 6 second exposure.

It was really pretty moving to be there all alone at night, at about 10:00 PM.

All the shots are moving, but the first one is especially special
{and I certainly don't understand why these have been ignored for three years!!}
