Sorry for the slow response
...I forgot I posted this...been busy with the new Bigma!
Originally posted by Heinrich Lohmann Congrats on the new lens Rupert, nice images as always.
Thank you Heinrich! You are one of the top 4-5 shooters here on PF, your work is most superb, and I always enjoy...and envy...it!

I always like to ask, just to get a feel for what the lens can do, how far away were you from these subjects?
Thanks Jerry!
Mostly I am from 30 to 50 feet away on most shots. Almost all of them are shot through my office windows, so they could improve if shot outside, no doubt.

Yep, and if you come on down to the Woods of Otis, you can be right here!
Originally posted by daacon Well now - seems to be the perfect weapon to shoot these unsuspecting subjects.
Yep, squirrels seem to love a Bigma! Otis won't pose for anything else!

Thanks Jer
.....it is a fun lens for certain! Still getting used to the difference from my old one, but having fun doing it!
The new Bigma at ISO 6400 on the K5IIs...not half bad!
Some bright bokeh at ISO 1600
On the darker side of ISO 1600...
Nice at ISO 5000...too bad I cut off his feet....Otis thinks he would be better if I had cut off more than his feet!
Bigmas are fun lenses, you never know what kind of bokeh you will get, and that makes it interesting to shoot with!
Best Regards!
