A whimsical shot of an apple, taken in a hotel room while waiting for my wife to get ready. Guys, you know what I'm talking about.

I could make a couple of vats of cider while waiting on mine.

Great shot of vibrant red apple.

Thanks!
I was trying to be nice. If you add all the minutes up, I wonder how many years I've spent in this way

I remember reading somewhere that a typical lady spends on the average about 130 days over a lifetime getting ready. The fastest flight from LA to Glasgow is 13.5 hours (actual flying time). So 130 days x 24 hours per day = 3,120 hours. Divide that by 27 hours for a round trip = 116 round trips from California to Scotland and back.
That's a lot of waiting! That's why photographers are a blessed lot. At least they can enjoy their hobby leisurely while waiting for the wife to get ready. They also have the option of eating an apple.

Hey Jerry, may be whimsical, but you got right to the core of the matter. Great use of selective focus.

Don't forget the restroom stops. That ought to be worth at least 10-20 more round trips right there!
Thanks for your comments!
