Here comes the ..........
Lens: DA12-24 Camera: K5iis Photo Location: Camrose

I dropped my wife off and off I went exploring in small town Alberta. I saw a wheat field beside some train tracks and thought that would be cool. Parked the car, walked through the wet ditch, climbed up the rocky path to the tracks, started to set up my shot on the tripod when a hear a faint horn and I turn to look ....

Don't usually take moving train shots with a 12-24 but was close enough this time.

Sweet captures! The first 3 are shots you can see often enough, but the last is a real keeper just for the unusual viewpoint...

Pretty cool shots but we lose a few photogs a year shooting rail shots.

Thanks Steve that;s surprising , the train sounded his horn well in advance , hard to believe I suppose if the person had headphones on and was distracted or something....

It would be difficult with only owning just FF primes...
