First portraits with an translucent umbrella!

Hi. I have received my umbrella several days ago and I went outside with my model to take some pictures. I'm quite happy with the umbrella but I must find a better location. I hope you like them!!

Yep, it's amazing what can be achieved even with a cheap manual flash, shoot thru umbrella and light stand. She becomes 3D and contrasts against a dark background.

Well, the camera may simply have been on Auto AF mode. If hands, knees, feet or clothes are closer to the camera, you have to consciously focus on the eyes.
