Lighthouse - Cape Willoughby - SA · 08:29 PM

Lighthouse on cape Willoughby, Kangaroo Island, South Australia. Reputably the windiest place in South Australia.

Nearly got blown off the face of the earth taking this one.

Another view from a closer viewpoint. This one taken using 6 shots in a vertical panorama and then B/W conversion to emphasize the clouds.

The headstone of one of the workers who died during the construction. Could be a distant relative.

That would explain the towers slight lean to the left then.

Thanks for the observation. I can see the lean clearly now. I wish I had a logical reason for not spotting it before hand.
