Excellent and all very striking! Strong compositions, good light, interesting skies ....I particularly like the brilliant foreground in the first image. It's certainly the first set of beach images from the Netherlands I've seen!

Fantastic. I love the first and third. The echoing textures in the clouds and beach in the first one, along with the diagonals and horizontal are wonderful. Really nice.

The first shot is a real winner for me.

Something I notice in all the images is how flat the horizons are, do you have no hills there at all?

Probably made more noticeable for me, living in the Highlands and surrounded be them all the time, no matter which way you look.

Great stuff. You probably got wet and muddy shooting these but it was worth it!

Thanks it is always a pleasure to show something that's not on somebody's 'radar' yet.

Jacquot, thank you! Because very often there is not one very distinctive object in the foreground (like the third one) I tend to shoot from a low position and pick up on the structures that are there. That seems to work well for me. Especially when I can combine that with some moving clouds trough a long exposure.

Thanks! There are no real hills in my part of the Netherlands apart from the sand dunes on the islands and artificial, man made hills called a 'terp' that used to keep everything and everybody dry before the first dikes were being build in the 13th century. Old churches generally are build on these kind of 'terpen'. I do love mountains though but I really have to travel to see them!

This set of images was ok in that respect, but I do get on the mudflats themselves quite a lot and you are right; if you are not careful it can get very messy very quick! (Not very long ago I organized a meet for Ducht Pentaxian's and one of the participating photographers (he is a member here too) slipped and fell in the mud. It was not a pretty sight.) Thanks!

Thanks Jer, I appreciate that. I am rather satisfied with how that second one turned out as well.
