I don't know what it is about these two photos that fascinates me, but I really really like the first one

Nice shots but I'd rather see them in color. To me, rosy-cheeked children belong in color.

@photodan - i liked the impact that sepia gave to it - anyway, i don't like rules like 'rosy-cheeked children belong in color' - i think it always depends on the particular subject and photo how it should be presented in postprocessing
