Street Dance - Brooklyn, New York

There are some opportunities you can't pass by. On my last trip to New York I got a chance to shoot Alexandra Jacob on the streets of Brooklyn. It was nice to see such of awesome talent meet me for the first time to shoot as soon as I arrived to NYC. People surrounded the area behind me to watch her dance like there was no one else around. It was so much fun.

I shot this with the amazing Ricoh Imaging Pentax 645Z Medium Format 51mp camera. It was worth walking around with this large camera. Love it.

Love the image. That heap of trash to the left (it looks like trash) makes the scene a bit more visceral.
