Moon over the blue bridge.
Lens: DA 10-17 Fisheye Camera: K50 Photo Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F10
Posted By: Scorpio71GR, 10-31-2015, 07:38 PM

Been trying my hand at some night photography lately. The city here has eleven bridges spanning the river excluding the highways. Two of them are pedestrian bridges and this one of them. It is one the last steel truss bridges left, there is one other and that one is still opened to traffic. Just as I was getting ready to leave I noticed the moon was coming up so I stayed a bit longer to catch it over the bridge. I have been really impressed with the K50. Comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Other side of the bridge before the moon came up. DA 10-17 on the K3 20 second exposure.

I like both. Excellent photography. That 10-17 Fisheye lens is versatile. I also have one, very pleased with this lens.

I love mine and use it a lot for vintage vehicles. I find that I usually use it at 17mm and then play around with the angles. When I get it right...that lens @ 17mm can really deliver a punch.

Beautiful shots. I actually like the second one a little better -- darker sky contrasts better with the lighted bridge, I guess. Strong work!

I agree that little lens completely amazes me.

Thank you, I took the second one first. A really subdued look and feel was what I was looking for. When I saw the moon coming up over the bridge I figured to try a different look as well.
