Nice composition and use of black and white.

However, it's a Hawker Hurricane. The tip-off is the canvas stretched over horizontal wooden supports on the aft part of the fuselage. The Supermarine Spitfire had an body made of aluminum sheets.

Nice shot. I presume this was part of the 75th Anniversary Battle of Britain display (now being dismantled?). I was in London back in Julyand saw the Spitfire and Hurricane in the Science Museum. Great aircraft. My father-in-law flew both and ended up on Typhoons.

I wish I could find this negative again. It turned out way nicer than expected, it'd be fun to try and print.
