it was only 1-2 days old as far as I can tell...their defence mechanism at that age is to keep perfectly still and blend in to the foliage.

Nice capture I had to look twice as well - stealth mode was on and working nice BW as well. I think the tree dead center takes attention away from the deer might want to crop a bit off there.
