Had luck and was fast enough to take this shot (took only one but it was fine), now I always keep my camera ON and let the lens cap in my pocket

Personally the time it takes me to raise to camera to my eye, it is on by the time it gets there (as my finger falls on the power switch), and I find I can remove the lens cap as I bring it to my eye...

Nicely done, that Cosina seems to do pretty well pointed at the sun.

yes and thanks for your thumbs up, as an ex-illustrator who've been a ground forces Officer although he wanted to be an architect or artist and coming back only fiew months ago to art via photography, this is very stimulating, I need them to hold on on this path Thank you all. Bruno.
