Usually our Fuscias die at the end of the summer, but this one seems to be doing fine inside.

It's blooms progress from old

To old but not as old

To brand new and peaking.

It seems to like it's new home on the kitchen table. The big question is, will it last until next year and go out for another summer in it's hanging basket on the porch?

Very nicely done with beautiful colors and sharpness. That Sigma Macro 70 is really awesome. Also, I believe did you the right thing in choosing a macro lens. Many folks try to get macro shots by using short telephotos, and honestly the difference in quality is so readily apparent. You want macro photography, then buy specially configured macro lenses.

Thanks again for a terrific series.

Rgds,

Tonytee

Some of my favourite flower images are of drying dead flowers, they really are remarkable subjects. Thanks,

Nice shots! So how do you keep your fuscia healthy? I could blow one up with tannerite and it would still live longer than what normally happens!

We have no idea....we brought it in to keep an early frost from killing it. Then it seemed to do better in doors so we just kept it in. Now it's going great. Normally we are like you, they die on us before the end of the season even though they've been watered and fed. This might end up being the Fuscia that eats Tokyo...
