I was driving through Wakefield Ontario and decided to stop for a few shots. It's on the Trent-Severn waterway, so lots of locks and dams etc. and since the first settlements in this area were on waterways, some old (for Canada) churches. It was raining and definitely a WR kind of day. Jump out of the car, snap a few shots, jump back in dry everything with napkins.

Lakfefield's dam and power plant.. the canal and locks are off to the right.
Looking south.

Looking North

Evidence of Anglicans...

This one built in 1853, now a museum, but also open for worship in the summer.

Some old Ontario Architecture..

What is it now?

Littlejohn Photography - Lakefield, ON

Young's point lock ( Trent Severn Waterway , National Historic Site, Young's Point, Lock 27), just to the north...

This must have been the first church in Young point, seems as though it's been attached to another building now. I couldn't tell if it still performs a church function or is a private residence.

Maybe sometime when I go it will be sunny.

Were they all taken with the 18-135? I'm asking because the second last one looks wider than 18mm, but I'm also visually challenged, so I could easily be wrong. I really like the 8th one, something about the angle nicely showing the lines of tiles on the roof and the steeple with the bell in it fading into the mist.

All 18-135 images, the first one is a pano image, probably 50% wider than the 18mm on it's own. The second one is 18mm.
