Hey look! I took some Flower macros too! yay!

I was outside, and figured, hey, what the heck!
Whadaya think? I don't do this very often...
Yes it's the same flower, but I was trying some different approaches to it..

They are all very nice! While I really like the color in the first and second ones, the third is my favorite due to fewer distracting background elements and stronger composition, IMHO.

Great series! I like the 3rd one best, it has a very strong 3D look to it, and it is crop very courageously.

I like the color saturation of the 2nd, especially contrast between the red and blue. Come to think of it, there is a slight bluish cast on the 3rd that could be tweaked.

The 1st is also attractive. But for me, there is too much negative space above and below, the background color compete for attention, as a result, the image is splitted into 3 major sections.

Nice set Dan. I agree with the previous poster on number 1. I really like the second one but I wish the whole flower was in view. Third one, I love the perspective.
