A wonderful action shot !
I assume that you are becoming quite a "pro" with this lens?
Cheers!

I'd like to test it when you have the chance to come my way.

Feeling more comfortable each time I take it out but work keeps getting in the way. Looks like weather will be nice here next Friday and Saturday and I plan on being out from sunrise to sunset each day.

I am going to try to get up to Amherst Island in Feb. or Mar. to try to get some shots of snowy owls.

The slow flyby was very kind of him. Great shot. Can't wait to see your snowy owl photos. Would love to see one in real life.

Nice shot! I bet trying to lift that beast and trying not to get the shakes after a few seconds is very hard! Can i ask what's the rate of 'keepers' with this lens (in focus shots, etc)?

I haven't tried to shoot hand held at all yet. I have only had the lens a week and only two days of being able to get out and shoot with it. The keeper rate has been low so far but I've been trying to shoot eagles most of the time and still learning the lens ability. Tracking the eagles has been the hardest part, I've got some good pictures of half a eagle and of blue sky when they dive or bank real quick and I lose them.

This is a relatively new hobby for me so my skill level is low, still learning best shutter speed and aperture to use and always let the k3 handle iso. and my Lightroom knowledge isn't good but I just need to get out and practice and learn by doing.
