Machinery Shades of Blue

Not Fifty Shades, nor was I blue, but this delightful little MGA coupé contrasted quite well with the rather imposing Cadillac behind. I was rather pleased to be able to get a reasonably sharp shot at f2.8 and 1/15th sec, hand held, too. This is another from the many taken at the National Motor Museum, Birdwood, South Australia.

I love those voluptuous curves on the MGA even when I was in grade school in the '50s. I begged my Dad to get one, but no luck. However, in 1958 he did buy us a new Morris Minor convertible (BMC's stable mate), in which I ultimately learned to drive.
